Chinese Characters celebrates the holiday season by inviting artists, both young and established and all friends of the gallery to create post cards. We've also invited some special guest celebrities to make cards.
The cards will be exhibited in Chinese Characters on Dec 9, 2008.
DOORS OPEN from 6PM. The raffle draw starts at 8PM.
Anybody young or old, talented or aspiring... just pick up a card!
Where to get a card:Treehugger Dan's Bookstore, Csengery u. 48 (M-F 10-18 Sat: 10-17). Yellow Zebra Bikes and Books, Lázár u. 16 (M-F 9:30- 18:30, Sat-Sun 10-16).
Sirály, Vittula, Jelen, Parázs, Káveszünet, Eckermann, City Gyros no.2 (Moszkva tér.)
Just send a mail to chinesecharacters@gmail.com with your name and postal address and we'll send you a blank card for you to create.
What can I do with the card:DRAW, WRITE, PAINT, SCREENPRINT, PHOTOCOPY, PASTE, CUT YOUR CARD!
What can't I do with the card:No names - please ONLY sign and print your card on the REVERSE, not on the front. we would like cards to remain anonymous.
Submission Deadline!By Post: Thurs. Dec 4th
By Hand: to Klub Vittula, Kertész u. 4 Bp. by Mon Dec 8th.
M-F from 6PM , Sat from 8PM (Sun-closed).
When your number is drawn you choose your favourite card. Then you find out who the artist is! We register the card in your name and you can pick it up DEC 19th (the end of the exhibition). If you can't pick it up, we'll post it to you. Plenty of great art to win..... and remember its the luck of the draw!
RAFFLE Ticket Purchase:All tickets should be purchased on Dec. 9th, the night of the draw from 6-8PM ONLY!
Tickets are 2500huf, or 10euro.
